It’s World Pasta Day
Calling all carb-lovers of the world!
Did you know October 25th is “World Pasta Day?!” We promise you don’t have to be Italian to celebrate. Who doesn’t love a plate of soft, delicious pasta to fill you up? The “World Pasta Day” holiday was created back in 1995 when 40 pasta producers from around the world gathered to hold the first “World Pasta Congress.” From there restaurants just like Panini’s all around the world, have come together each October to pay tribute to one of the most versatile and beloved foods ever.
An Italian-Mediterranean Flair
Pour your favorite wine and pile on the parmesan cheese because Panini’s on the Waterfront has a variety of pasta that will leave you celebrating for the whole week. Try our homemade Spaghetti with marinara house made sauce and decorated with san marzano tomatoes and parmesan. Feel right at home with our Baked Ziti. Our Ziti is nothing but gooey and decadent with fresh penne pasta, blanketed in ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan. The marinara has a sweet taste with spiced meatballs and sausage. All of our pasta is made with an Italian-Mediterranean Flair. Our Fettuccini Alfredo is savory with a creamy white sauce that’s delicious with chicken, shrimp, or even plain! We can’t forget to mention the house made blend of five cheeses. How delicious?!
Why We Love World Pasta Day
We love pasta because of its versatility. You can have pasta for both lunch or dinner. There is a pasta dish to fit every mood. If you forgot your vegetables for the day, you can throw some on top. If you need to eat more protein in your day, add some to your steaming hot pasta dish. Pasta can also help sustain energy throughout the day with its rich carb content. At Panini’s we make sure our pasta is made with fresh ingredients. Twirl some around your fork, take a bite, and you can taste the freshness. This “National Pasta Day”, we’ll have you leaving not only full but fueled too.
